Where's a good spot to do water activities in WA?

Q: Where can I swim with dolphins and also go sea kayaking?

A: The other posters advising Monkey Mia are correct, you can SEE dolphins there, however you will NOT be allowed to swim with them, in fact you will be permitted in no deeper than your ankles, the Department of Conservation and Land Management controls the area very strictly. If you want to SWIM with dolphins, and also go sea kayaking then I can highly recommend Rockingham. We have swim with the dolphin tours here where they actually take you out in a boat to the dolphins and allow you to really get in the water with them. You can also rent a sea kayak and explore the Shoalwater Marine Park while youre here. The marine park includes Penguin Island, a bird sanctuary and fairy penguin colony, and Seal Rock, which is a sea lion colony. You are not allowed to actually go onto Seal Rock for your own safety as sea lions have been known to attack humans. Wherever you go I hope you enjoy your time in our beautiful state.
