Q: I live in the south-west of WA at the moment with a low socio-economic background. I've recently received my TEE results and I am eligible to go to any uni I want. I'd like to know if it is cheaper to rent a house in the city, or on campus? I will most likely be studying full-time. Also, what is it like being at university? Any tips is appreciated. Most students I knew are in rented accommodation sharing with others .There's a forum you can communicate with others in the same position . http://www.australian-universities.com/accommodation/student/perth http://australia.accommodationforstudents.com/Perth.asp If you don't know Perth or other students in Perth , then it would make sense to go on campus accommodation for the first year and you should be able to find rental afterwards which may work out cheaper . The price depends which area of Perth you are in .
