Q: hi there. my family and i are considering moving from the uk to australia possibly perth. I have read some sites about aboriginal gangs weilding knives and the crime rates have risen in the perth area, more so in the more well to do areas...is this correct?. Also i have read that there is a problem with gangs in general in perth and violent crimes. A: Perth is safe and lovely...Just stay away from areas like Balga,Mirrabooka, Nollamara, Westmister. Crime is everywhere youve just got to be smart and safe, Somewhere nice to bring up a family would be Balcatta, Joondalup, Mandurah, Leederville. Hope i helped =D
