Q: Hey Guys, I live in Perth and i want to take a camping trip one weekend, because i'm originally from the north west, i have NO idea where to go...any ideas?? i dont want to travel more than 3.5hrs.... cheers

A: Awesome, i absolutely love traveling down south, its so different to the north! Well id say by going with ur 'no more than 3.5hrs' that u should be able to get down as far as Augusta, the stars are amazing at night down there... also on the way there and in the surrounding areas, you have Dunsborough which is a nice little town, Margaret River, famous for its beaches...and chocolate factory..and places like Prevelly and the famous geographe bay and cape nautraliste...which has lots of cool caves to explore...obviously ur only going for the weekend but try and do as much as you can...plus if about an hour or so before u hit these places you can stop at Busselton...semi modern, beautiful beach and a famous jetty...good luck!
