A: As most of these jobs are state or local government, you may have problems from the 'local knowledge' aspect. I know of somebody from NI who did exactly the same and found it next to impossible. It may be different if you have high level quals and plenty of experience. The WA government jobs website is: www.jobs.wa.gov.au You could also look at the resources sector in the safety and environment areas, but that would probably mean fly-in/fly-out rosters. A good start would be: www.seek.com.au Whatever you do, research it well BEFORE you get here.
