Q: i got a referral from my doctor to go to a physio, so i went under the impression that medicare would cover some of it. but they say physio is private so i cant claim? but i had a referral!! its so much to pay now without medicare, help?
A: Physio can be very expensive and unfortunatly is not covered under medicare. but if you cant afford it you will have to go on a waiting list at a public hospital (6 months or so) If you urgenty need it sometimes you can be refered to Curtin University where the graduating students do it for free for people who cant afford it.
