A: The law says you must be a certain distance away from a caravan park to be able to park for free anywhere. I think it's 30km. I think that will mean no where in Perth is far enough away. So you will have to use a caravan park otherwise risk a fine. Some people have been using the car parks along Mounts Bay Road in Crawley and I suspect they use the excuse that they are 'just fishing' to get away with it. Since all the southwest towns are all so close, you might have to go out to past Merredin before you can legally park for free in the bush.
