Q: I am hopefully moving to Perth (City not rural or remote) with my wife in Aug/Sept 2009 probably for two years (or more - who knows?). I am an English Teacher who will have five years teaching experience (two as Second in Dept and Head of English Key Stage 3) by the time I move. What salary can I expect to earn (private or state) and how easy would it be for me to find a decent full-time position? Thanks for your advice in advance!

A: i've been browsing through the paper and saw the demand for teachers though not as plenty as the need for people for manual labor. the skills assessment is necessary for you to be able to teach here. better enroll in schools while you're here to have additional credentials. they would not recognize much of the units you have back home.
