Q: Hi everybody. I am from vietnam. i'm very interest in Perth. But i know nothing about Perth. I have some questions. Can anybody help me? Which University in Perth that suit and easy for international student to enroll in. I have no job experience, so what kind of job is suit for me. How much can I earn Per hour. Thanks before hand

A: Are you aware that you are only allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week while on a student visa in Australia? You can work for unlimited hours during official semester breaks (vacations), but 20 hours is the limit at all other times. With no job experience, you will need to look for work in fast food, other restaurants/cafes, cleaning, bar work etc. If you're 21 or over, you'll earn upwards from about $17 per hour. If younger, the hourly rate will be less depending on your age and the type of work. Which university will be most suitable for you depends to a large extent on what course you are interested in, but Curtin University of Technology would be a good place to start your investigations as they have a large number of international students. http://www.curtin.edu.au/ Other unis in WA are: http://www.uwa.edu.au/ http://www.murdoch.edu.au/ http://www.ecu.edu.au/ http://www.nd.edu.au/ (in Fremantle) For all visa information, go to: http://www.immi.gov.au/students/index.htm
