Q: Me and my family are going on a short holiday (a few days). We're staying at a place near wave rock, but we are worried that there will be nothing else to do there? is there anything else to do there other than looking at wave rock? A: Wave rock i think is near Hyden, and i dont think there is any thing else to see out there but the bush, i think you can drive out there and get back to Perth in the same day. i would not want to stay out there more than one day it would be boring. If you are coming soon all the wild flowers are now coming out it is spring, i would take a trip up to Kings Park in the city, you can see awonderfull view up there and they have wildflowers on show. i suggest you stay at the Goodearth Hotel in Perth they do a good deal, and there are lots of day trips you can do from there, even a ferry ride on the river or a luncheon cruise
