Q: I'm off to perth November 20th for 10 weeks and from reading up on the matter off renting it seems like it might be a problem, I'm not to bothered where I live as long as its within 45min of the city and near a beach. Any idea's....I know fremantil (spellings wrong there) is cool but expensive plus it being a 10 week stay will make it harder (I assume anyway) so I'm open to any info that might help. I'm guessing I will have around 250 for rent per week tops and I'm not really into the house sharing or renting a room thing. Cheers hope someone can help out... Hi, thanks for the reply can you recomend so good sites to put up adds. cheers, jonny Thanks elmino, it 9 weeks not that that makes any differance all we want is somewhere a little private a room or anything if we cant find that then its down the camping site with a tent lol. Thanks for the links
A: You may find it a little hard wanting to rent for such a short time, have you looking into a house swap or something along those lines you would be able to swap your home for someone elses and save your rent money. Other then that Freo is way to dear, I would look at places in rockingham area or anywhere along the mandurah train line it cheaper to rent there and your still on the train and bus line so it is easy to get into the city. You will also find that its cheaper to rent a home in an area that doesn't have a school or has a bad school as you need to live in the area to send you children to that school so it sky rockets rent prices. Pretty much anywhere is near a beach in that area so its not a problem. The rental market is very hard to get into and since you want to rent over christmas i think you'll find it hard I'd look into the house swaping.
