romantic spots for 1st wedding anniversary?

Q: need some ideas to suprise my hubby for our 1st anniversary? i want to go away for the weekend and got a baby sitter lined up ( mother-in-laws) lol we are in syd so nsw is good and thinking maybe qld depending on $$ thats why i thought it start planning so i could save a bit of money without him knowing (fat chance) lol , i want something romantic but fun and exciting at the same time, i want to take him skydiving as he had book in for this on our honeymoon but it ended up raining so i said he chickened out haha, so if anyone knows of anywhere or any good deals and ideas please let me know our anniv is on the 15th sept but will be for the weekend just before depending if he can get time off work.

A: The most perfect place on the east coast of Australia, located just inland from Coffs Harbour, is a place called "The Promised Land". It's like paradise and is like heaven on earth. The Promised Land Cottages are beautiful. The only negative is that there is no swimming pool, but a short walk past friendly cows peering at you over a fence takes you to a secluded area by a fresh water river surrounded by pebbles and sand. The hosts are welcoming and on one occasion, they left us for the weekend and we were the only people in the entire valley. There are only 4 cottages separated by at least 200 metres, and I really recommend cottage 1 or 4. There's a tennis court and bikes for use, and it's on an honesty basis as is the games room with some videos and books. For example, you just grab the bikes from the shed with helmet and go riding. My partner and I will be going there soon for the 4th time. This place has been written up in so many articles but still remains affordable. If you google "Promised Land Cottages", you'll see what I mean. The nearby town of Bellingen has the best restaurants, fine wine cellars and delicatessans offering the most select cheeses, etc that you could possibly imagine. Happy first wedding anniversary.
