A: Australians just only voted in Kevin Rudd in November just before the Australian Parliament and Members went on summer vacation. Planned by John Howard so he can't make any new promised changes to the Australian government . Kevin Rudd's first sitting of the new government is in two weeks. During the time Mr Rudd has been elected he has attended many summit meetings the first was in Bali to sign the Kyoto Protocol and to do trade deals with China. Then stop Japanese whaling in Australian waters and deal with the floods in N.S.W and Queensland offering assistance to families affected by the floods. Mr Rudd has just attended a summit meeting for more government and business funding for the homeless and disadvantaged also mentally challenged who end up on the streets and to fix the hospital crisis created by the Howard government. As well deal with interest rate hikes to help Americans not to fall into a full recession. So it is too early for Americans to make any decision on Mr Rudd.
