Q: most of the road from parramatta to City is three lanes each way but has four lanes over Gladeville. Today they make roads that are two lanes each way. How come they could build roads for the future before now and NOW the roads are out of date when they are fiished.
A: Victoria Rd was built in the 19th century (if not earlier). When it was first built it was more than adequate for the horse traffic for which it was designed.
