Q: I have an SIR subclass 495 visa that permits me to live and work in regional Australia. ( validity for 3 yrs) However i have a job in hand in Sydney and want to know if i can live & wrk there for one year out of the three years.
A: I couldn't find that particular visa on the immigration department website but with a SIR subclass 475 visa you only have to live in a designated regional area for 12 months. So on that visa it would be possible to live and work in Sydney. but you should check with the immigration department about the visa you have.
