Q: I have a sporting event and a field called "The Square" on Friday and I'm not sure where it is, I heard its in Sydney University or close to Sydney University and I think someone said it is along Parramatta road.

A: The Square is literally a square of grass. It is one of the fields at the University of Sydney. It is located between the Physics Building (Physics Rd) and Education Building (Manning Rd). It also has the Arena Sports Centre (Western Avenue) on one side of it, and the Manning Tennis Courts on the other side. It sports a cricket strip, and is used for hockey (it's actually called the Hockey Square if you look into SU Sport history), softball and was formerly home to the Sydney Uni Archery club before it was moved to St Paul's College Oval. If you get yourself to Camperdown campus of Sydney Uni (bounded by Paramatta Rd, City Rd, Missenden Rd and Carillon Ave, NSW 2006), you can ask the students there where the Square is ,or Physics Building/Physics Rd and someone will be able to point you there.
