Sydney -- Tourism?

Q: Hi Bodies, I plan to come to Sydney for a few days for a seminar and I do not have this chance to see all the places, can you guide me which places are the best places of Sydney to visit? (please take to account I may have a car then or not) Cheers

A: No need for a car. Walk around the historical Rocks area of Sydney taking in John Cadman's Cottage then walk around Circular Quay to the Opera House. Next to the Opera House is the Botanical Gardens. Take a river taxi to Darling Harbour and Chinatown from Circular Quay. Take the Explorer Bus. It will take you through all the lovely Bays - Double Bay,Rose Bay, Vacleuse to Bondi Beach, Take the Ferry from Pier 5? to Manly. A great trip and the best views from the ferry of The Harbour Bridge and Opera. House. You can also take a ferry to Watsons Bay and have the famous Doyles Fish and Chips. Walk into the city - Strand Arcade and the QV Building are great. At night time visit the Shangri La Hotel high up in The Rocks. Go to the bar at the 35th Floor. Stunning views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. No need to be a resident. Other possibilities-The Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour is excellent,The Aquarium, Hyde Park Barracks, Sydney Museum, Hyde Park and Oxford St.If you like Indian food try the Clove on Crown St just off Oxford St. Just a few ideas - have a great time
