Q: hello it says on the website if youre a student, and traveling in off peak, there is no fair associated with travel. between those times i do notice that they leave the gates open, but sometimes they dont. it says offpeak times are between 9-4... any experiences? regards yes, but it clearly says on their website, if youre a student and travel between offpeak hours then the fare is "N/A". all other times fare is half price
A: The ticket machines all have the student option and it will print you a ticket if its free. Honestly i doubt it nothing is free these days. i just had a look on the city rail website and used the fare calculator, student travel is about half price but def not free
