Q: I have to do this final project for summer school. I am not dumb and have to take summer school I am attending Choate Rosemary Hall's summer program. I have to do a power point on a famous city and I chose Sydney. One of the questions I have to answer is how the city became famous. So I am wondering how did Sydney become famous????? Please help it is do tomorrow and this is the last slide I have to do. :)
A: Sydney was the first European settlement in Australia, originally as a place for the transportation of convicts. It has always had one of the best harbours in the world. It remains the largest city in Australia and is the business hub of the place (sorry Melbourne). So if you have heard of Australia you have pretty much heard of Sydney.
