Q: All my ID's in my local country are still in maiden name (passport, license, etc) I want to apply for an ID in Sydney with my married name. I'm a housewife. My husband is on business visa here. I dont plan to get a license or passport. Any other ID's? Thanks
A: Take your passport and your marriage certificate to the RTA and get a NSW Photo Card. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/photocard.html You will also need some other Proof of Identy documents: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/proofidentity/proof_list12.html Make sure that at least one of your documents shows your NSW residental address.
