Q: i live in sydney.I lost my job and i missed out my regular instalments after 3 months since i recieved court notice to repay. i dont have any property to pay them back, rent house and dont have a car either. i dont even have money to get advice from any lawyer.i dont know what to do.plz suggest.
A: Go to a Citizens Advice Bureau in your state - just Google it and get advice how to structure your repayments. Their services are free and they are very helpful. Get a job if you don't already have one and then get a second job on top of that. Anyone who sincerely wants to work in Australia can find jobs - there are jobs everywhere if you really take the trouble to look. If you haven't been able to find one, you haven't tried hard enough. Work your ar$e off and pay back your debts. Chop up any remaining cards and don't ever buy anything again if you can't afford to pay cash.
